Hide AdThis proposal would save a vast expense on building a new route through Binsted, which would ruin yet another large tract of excellent countryside and woodland.
It can well be predicted that the Binsted route would soon become a convenient boundary for developers all too ready to build more housing estates south and west of the town.
I dread to think what the south coast in this area will be like in the near future, if all the housing plans, at such places as Angmering, Wick, and Climping, go ahead.
As for increased traffic in the "built area", especially at rail crossings – it can be imagined.
