Charman double sees Horsham open with victory
Horsham FC began the new league season with all three points after a 2-1 victory over Eastbourne Town at Gorings Mead on Saturday.
Assistant manager Gary Charman was the Horsham hero with both goals either side of half time for the dominant hosts.
Eastbourne did get back into the game through Adam Davidson but the hosts held their nerve to record a first opening day win for five years.
