Hide AdGross felt City deserved to be crowned champions but added Liverpool were unfortunate to get 97 points and finish runners-up.
He said: "Over the year when they get the most points they deserve to be champions. There was one team who was really unlucky and they had an unbelievable year you have to say.
"I've never seen something like that in my life but at the end they were one point better so they deserve to be champions."
