RESIDENTS at the Queen Alexandra Cottage Homes had tea with the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire during the couple's recent visit to Eastbourne.
The Duke and Duchess are no strangers to the residential complex for the elderly in Seaside and regularly visit when they are in the area.
They were given a guided tour of the homes and garden and shown the site of the new laundry.
The duchess was presented with a
bouquet of flowers from resident Vi Griffiths. The couple also met Joan Copping, a resident in the QACH care wing, who this week celebrated her 107th birthday.
