AN EASTBOURNE postwoman is having her head shaved in aid of the Tuesday O'Hara Fund.
Mary Flynn will shave off her hair at the Tuesday O'Hara fun day at Eastbourne DGH Social Club, Kings Drive, on May 24.
Mary has been sponsored by her colleagues at the Eastbourne sorting office and says she hopes her hair has grown back in time for her 50th birthday in July.
Music, swimming, a barbecue, stalls and a display by the Hip Hop Crew are just some of the attractions that will be at the fun day.
Entry to the event is free and will take place between 10am-4pm.
All proceeds go to the Tuesday O'Hara Fund, a charity set up in memory of Tuesday who died of leukaemia.
For further information or to volunteer yourself for a sponsored head shave or leg wax call Frank or Sue O'Hara on 765624 or visit www.tuesdayoharafund.co.uk (c)
