Full cost of criminal damage to town revealed
THE full cost of criminal damage to town council-owned areas of Hailsham has been revealed.

Lead theft was by far the most expensive with a December raid on the council's meeting room costing £1,963.
Further thefts of lead at Hailsham's cricket pavilion last summer cost more than £950.
The attack on the Tree of Light shortly before Christmas, condemned by then mayor Nick Ellwood as a 'blatant act of vandalism' caused £395 of damage, while £431 had to be paid out to repair the damaged roof on the Maurice Thornton pavilion.
