Why do we need super surgeries?

Super surgeries, so why do we have to have them when we have a very good GP service within the Eastbourne area?
Our doctors who know their patients and all their problems and the treatment that suits them best and with a personal touch, give confidence.
These new super surgeries cannot have the personal touch in a one-off visit; looking at medical screens does not tell them all the conditions in one visit. Mistakes can be made and remember, a patient is not a machine.
We have a very good ambulance service and our DGH gives a wonderful service to us all. Is this a politician's exercise where there is another cost cutting scheme tried by government? This is the way of things to come for our medical service (NHS). May it be suggested the people in the Eastbourne area give full support by knocking on the door of their politicians in this area and let them know their points of view on this subject and not to bury their heads in the sand. – Mr Rayner, Whitley Road.
