IT'S A Knockhout came to Knockhatch Adventure Park on Saturday – and raised £300 for the Tuesday O'Hara Fund.
Nearly 50 people competed in different events, from go-karting, riding the bucking bronco, wall climbing and taking on the 'demon drop slide'.

Carl Hooper, from CMH Brickwork, said, "It was a fantastic evening and a great way to raise money for a good cause.

"Even though I took an early bath in the boating lake I would love to do it again."

Frank and Sue O'Hara, Tuesday's parents, organised the event and added, "The evening was a great success.

"It is great to get the support of local companies who put teams forward and of Knockhatch who kindly agreed to open in the evening for us so we could run the event."

A donation of a meal for four at The Farm in Friday Street was the first prize and won by Team Daddy.

Sinders Scaffolding took second with Team Goliath in third.

The Tuesday O'Hara Fund was set up by friends and family of Tuesday O'Hara, who sadly lost her battle against cancer last year aged just 21.

The ultimate aim of the charity is to raise enough money to facilitate the proposed adolescent unit at Eastbourne District General Hospital with equipment that will help make those aged between 18 and 30 have as comfortable and homely a stay as possible.

Frank and Sue are looking for more people to help support their fundraising efforts. If you would like to be involved, please call 765624 or visit www.tuesdayoharafund.co.uk
