Charitable bikers support Conquest children at Christmas
Members of Bexhill Bikers, The Armed Forces Bikers and Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers blood bikers (SERV) joined West Sussex Bikers Motorcycle Club to bring a smile to some hospitalised children over the festive season.
Toys and presents were handed out to the children’s ward patients at the Conquest, St Richard’s Hospital in Chicester and Worthing Hospital.

Hide AdSERV’s Russ Green organised the Hastings run with donations from The Works, based in Priory Meadow.
He thanked all those members who braved the wind and rain on the day including SERV chairman Simon Morley who was on hand to help out along with Peter Butler, Darren Ashton (SERV) Taff, Smurf and Dave from The Armed Forces Bikers and Vikkiy Murray representing Bexhill Bikers.
He also thanked everyone on behalf of all the kids, their families and the nursing staff stuck in hospital over the Christmas period and hoped they brought a smile to the wards.
In all, around 60 children and their families were helped by the bikers’ generosity.

Hide AdThe West Sussex bikers president Hobbit decided to help the SERV bikers who do a similar run every year but he thought it made sense for them to help out.
A special mention was given to Vikki Jayne Vandweller for raising an extra £100 for the donations.
The members met at the Farmers pub in Lancing at 10am on Christmas Eve and rode to St. Richard’s in the wind and rain with a support car filled with presents following the bikers.
Keith Grout and Gyorgy Toth of SERV met Darren Godden, Rick Tilson, Jackie Davis, Vikki, Steve Maloney and Mark Shoebridge to assist with the donations.

Hide AdDaniel Horn from SERV arranged the Worthing Hospital run which was helped by Right Track Group Inc based in Horsham. The ward was given a Sony Playstation 4, with eight games, two iPads and chocolates for the nursing staff.
Jamie Lee-Stiles and Daniel Horn were busy collecting from the community and arranging the delivery on the day and Sam Latter collected gifts and donated character balloons to all children.
