'˜Lifeline' electric bike stolen in Brighton
An electric bike described by police as a '˜transport lifeline' for a Huntington's Disease sufferer was stolen from outside a shop in Brighton yesterday (November 29).
Police said the Haibike electric mountain bike, worth £4,000, was stolen from outside Luna Deli in Lewes Road during a brief ten-minute period around 12.15pm.
The bike, which is black on the bottom and beige-and-white on top, was locked to a post outside the shop.
The lock was cut and left at the scene, police said.
