Emergency services called to collision in Eastbourne town centre
Ambulance crews attended the incident in Upperton Road, near Watts Lane, on Thursday (July 9) at about 10am and the woman was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “A 34-year-old woman from Eastbourne suffered leg injuries when she was in collision with a car in Upperton Road shortly before 10.15am on Thursday (July 9).

Hide Ad“The driver of the Dacia Sandero, a woman from Eastbourne, was uninjured.”
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said, “Ambulance crews attended the scene and were joined by the air ambulance team which attended in one of their road vehicles.
“The pedestrian, a woman, was treated at the scene and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.”
According to traffic reports, Upperton Road was partially blocked both ways due to the incident.
