MEN’S BREAKFASTS: At Hellingly Church Saturday September 10 sees the start of the Men’s Breakfasts. These will be held on the second Saturday of the month starting at 9am in the Upper Dicker Village Shop, which does cracking breakfasts and caters for just about most tastes. They will be meeting for breakfast and then have a specially invited guest speaker. In September David, the Vicar, will be talking about his ‘Life in Cars’ and on October 8th the talk will be on Army Chaplaincy. Do come along.

Hide AdBIG BARN CIRCUS DAY: On Wednesday go along to Michelham Priory and see Hazee’s Crazee Circus where the children become part of the show. The day’s activities are in the Great Barn. 10.30am Circus arts and crafts. 1pm Hazee’s Crazee Circus followed by children’s circus skills. Children’s trail in the house all day. Prize available on completion. Go along and enjoy the fun. Michelham Priory is off Coldharbour Road at Upper Dicker.
PRODUCE AND FLOWER SHOW: Start preparing your entries for Saturday September 3, 3pm Arlington Village Hall. A fun event for all ages in the spirit of have a go. Classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, flower arranging, cookery, children’s classes and craftwork. Programme with entry form available from Upper Dicker village shop and entry forms to be returned by Wednesday August 31.
QUIZ NIGHT: Advance notice for Saturday evening September 10, Dicker Village Hall. Tickets include supper. Details to follow.
FESTIVAL CAKES AND WORSHIP: Friday August 26 to Monday August 29 at the Festival of Transport, Hellingly church is running a cake stall throughout the event. On Sunday August 28 at 11am a worship service will be held in the field at the Festival of Transport.
