A Hollywood actress is preparing for a move to Crowborough, according to national newspaper reports.

Two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett reportedly secured the purchase of the recently-renovated Highwell House this month, and is set to move into the mansion with her husband and children.

The seven-bedroom Victorian country house, which stands on 13 acres of land, was on the market with Knight Frank for a guide price of £3.25m.
