Moving service at Worthing’s cenotaph
A MOVING service to commemorate the D-Day landings was held around the cenotaph on Friday.
Lilian Lofts, the friend and in-law of Donald Lofts – a soldier who died in the Second World War, was invited by Major Tom Wye to attend the service and described it as ‘simple’ and ‘very sweet’.
