Stepping Stones marks 10 years
Children from Jolesfield CE Primary and a few from Steyning Grammar School, who had all previously attended Stepping Stones Pre-School in Partridge Green, were all invited to come along and join in the fun, with a massive group photo of almost 100 children.
It was so poignant, seeing the youngest members of Stepping Stones alongside our oldest children, now aged thirteen. We felt extremely proud of our Stepping Stones family, growing bigger by the year!.

Hide AdWe started the celebrations with our traditional graduation ceremony, where many a tear was shed as the children received their graduation certificates, kindly handed out by Father William, who has been doing this since we started a decade ago!
After a picnic lunch in the garden, the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves playing games, and having their faces painted and arms covered with sparkly/non-sparkly tattoos!
There was also a fabulous raffle with some extremely generous donations from parents and local companies.
This was followed by a ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ superbly organised by our brilliant group of parents, FOSS (Friends of Stepping Stones).

Hide AdWe concluded our happy afternoon with some marvellous entertainment from Marky Wild, who kept the children enthralled and thoroughly amused!
All in all, it was a very happy afternoon, and one that we will remember for many years to come.
May we take this opportunity to thank ALL our parents, both past and present, for their wonderful loyalty and kindness to us over this past decade.
We have loved teaching every single one of your children, and we look forward to the next decade with huge enthusiasm and gusto!
