SATURDAY CHARITY MARKET: Tomorrow’s market will be organised by the Labour Party.
COFFEE MORNINGS: This week coffee mornings will be organised by: Monday and Wednesday, Sussex pet Rescue; Tuesday, Lyn; Thursday, Wendy Veck and Friday July 8, Mencap.
COMMUNITY CAFÉ: Now open six mornings, in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue.

SUMMER FAIR: The town’s Summer Fair, July 16, Centenary Park (the Big Park) 11am to 3pm. Anyone wishing to book a stall please contact 01273 585493 option 1. Or email: [email protected] If you are able to donate a raffle prize please contact: [email protected] There will be a children’s fancy dress competition during the afternoon of the fair; two age groups 2 to 6 years and 7 to 11years. There is no need to register. PTC are hoping that families will participate in the family sports day, you will need to register to take part for this event.
COUNCIL MEETING: A Policy and Finance meeting will take place on Tuesday in the Anzac Room at 7.30pm.
