Vinyl records
POLICE are investigating
after vinyl records were stolen and bikes damaged following a shed break-in.
The incident took place in Barn Rise last Tuesday (September 24).
Around 10 vinyl records were stolen and paint and oil was thrown over bikes and other items in the shed.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Martin Theelke at Seaford Police station on 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 1268 of 23/09/08.
Wall damaged
POLICE received several calls
at around 4.45pm last Wednesday (September 24) after a wall in the Saxon Lane car park was found to be seriously damaged.
A white van was parked nearby with extensive damage to its rear and the flint wall
of the car park needed urgent attention to make it safe.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing, but if anyone witnessed the incident, please contact Seaford Police station on 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 1186, of 24/09/08.

Biker injured
POLICE are seeking witnesses
to an accident that left a motorcyclist with a broken leg.
Officers were called to the incident, which occurred on Thursday in Alfriston Road, following reports that a motorcyclist had come off his bike after hitting something on the carriageway and losing control.
Police found a Kawasaki motorcycle at the side of the road and the rider with serious leg injuries.
The 25-year-old man was taken to Eastbourne DGH with a fractured left thumb and a broken left leg.
Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC Armstrong based at Polegate. Telephone 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 778 of 25/09/08.

Tools offer
A RETIRED Seaford resident has offered to lend his tools to a workman who had been robbed of his own equipment.
The man read in the Gazette that the victim's tools had been stolen from his vehicle.
He went to Seaford police station and offered to lend the victim his tools while the lost items were replaced.
PC Martin Theelke said, "The gentleman who came into the police station was very upset that the victim had lost his works tools.
"It was a very generous offer and a lovely gesture from the man. I will be passing his details onto the victim."
