An extra-time goal from Andy Atkin sent Borough through to the next round of the Setanta Shield.
In a nervy encounter at Fisher Athletic the visitors did just enough to earn victory in an exciting encounter.

Goals from Simon Wormull and debutant Pat Sappleton looked to have secured victory but the Blue Square South side hit back with strikes from Jordan Kiffin which sparked a nightmare ten minutes for Garry Wilson's men.

A Kenny Beany free-kick then deflected of Sappleton to force the game in extra-time. Substitute Atkin missed to good chances before netting the winner with a neat header.

Wilson said, "We could have done without the extra-time. We had a lot of players coming back from injury and 90 minutes would have been enough.

"We made it tough because we failed to man manage the game when we were two goals up."
