Eastbourne cricketers stormed back into the Sussex Premier League title race with a five-wicket victory over Chichester at the Saffrons.
The result was made even more important with leaders Preston Nomads losing to Brighton by 42 runs.
Preston currently lead the table with 352 points followed by Hastings (333) and Eastbourne (324).
While the Saffrons side remain outsiders, they do have to play Preston Nomads on the last game of the season.
There are just two matches remaining.
Skipper Tom Smith took 5-40 off 18 overs as Chi slumped to 167 all out. James Kirtley took 1-68.
Eastbourne lost five wickets in reaching their target with Ben Brown making 55 and Londis Lewis 50.
