Skipper Tom Smith and Stuart Faith were the heroes of Eastbourne Cricket Club's magnificent four-wicket win over high-riding Horsham at the Saffrons.
Faith took a career-best 8-41 as Horsham were dismissed for 173.

And Smith led from the front with a magnificent unbeaten 96 to guide the home side (176-6)to a vital win in their quest for the Sussex Premier League title.

It remains tight at the top with Hastings Priory taking over the leadership following their nine-wicket win over Stirlands.

Hastings head the table with 191 points. Eastbourne, still in mid-table, have 164 but have a game in hand over Hastings.

The win was achieved without Ollie Rayner and Aga Rageb who are both included in the Sussex side currently facing Lancashire in a County Championship match.
