Hailsham boss Kenny McCreadie is hoping the magic of the FA Cup can rub off onto his youngsters as they face a testing trip to Burgess Hill on Saturday.
A Scott McDonald special against Worthing United blasted the Stringers into the preliminary round against the Ryman League South division one high-flyers.

McCreadie said, "It is the FA Cup and anything can happen. We have a game plan and we will g
o there with that and see what happens.

"We have nothing to lose and all the pressure will be on them. I understand they played well when they beat Eastbourne Town 2-0 but we have nothing to be afraid of."

Hailsham are still coming to terms with last weekend's 8-1 drubbing at Arundel. McCreadie said it is the first time he has every been involved in anything like that as a manager or a player.

He added, "We have to take it on the chin and learn from it. As far as I am concerned it was a blip, a complete one off. I am not going to criticise the players because they are a young squad and we are all learning together."

Scott McDonald and Mark Reeve return for Hailsham after missing the midweek John O'Hara Cup draw with Sidley United. Adam Kneller is on holiday and Max Dyer is suspended for a red card he received for fighting on the opening day of the season at Horsham YMCA.
