Transfer-listed striker Allan Tait and midfielder Darren Budd are set to leave Priory Lane this week.
Neither player made the trip to Burton on Saturday and with the arrival of Plymouth duo Ashley Barnes and Darren Smith and Jeff Goulding from Bournemouth, Tait and Budd are free to go.

Boro boss Garry Wilson said, "We've had a few clubs ask about Allan so I expect something to be sorted out soon. He needs to get out on loan and play some games.

"Darren also needs to get some matches under his belt so it is a case of putting the word out and see who comes in."

Farnborough and Burgess Hill have made inquires about Tait while Budd, who has not started a league game this season, could return to Blue Square South strugglers Bognor.

The loan transfer window has now closed so players can only move to teams competing at a lower level.
