Eastbourne Town bravely fought back from 3-1 down to secure a point at bottom-of-the-table Corinthian Casuals.
Town took the lead after ten monutes when Jamie Salvidge headed home Luke Denton's cross from the left.

The Casuals hit back and Paul Hunt levelled the scores when he steered in a nice finsih from the edge of the area.

Worse followed for Town on the 29th minute. Joe Nwoko's splendid effort from 20 yards crashed off the cross bar but unfortunately for Tanner, the ball rebounded off his back and rolled into the net.

The Casuals went further ahead just before half-time. Nwoko cut inside from the right and his cross was turned in by Brian Brown.

After shipping three goals last week at Crowborough, things looked bleak for Ady Colwell's men but they soon hit back in the second half.

Danny Simmonds crossed fromn the right and Liam Baitup finished at the near post.

With 12 minutes remaining Simmonds scored from the spot to level after Brown handled in the box.

On came Peter Cooper and Danny Leach but Town could not grab a winner and in the end were thankful for Nwoko wastefully missing a close range header at the death.
