Eastbourne United AFC got back to winning ways at Horsham YMCA but Kenny McCreadie's Hailsham were clobbered 8-1 at Arundel.
After a disappointing FA Cup exit last week, United proved too strong for highly-fancied Horsham YMCA.
Goals from Tom Morton and Lucas Mann sealed a convincing victory that gets United season back on track.
Meanwhile at Arundel Scott McDonald gave the Stringers a second minute lead but hat-tricks from Arundel's Mike Huckett and Greg Norgate saw Hailsham slip to an embarrassing 8-1 defeat.
