This was the moment on Tuesday afternoon when Sachin Tendulkar, widely acclaimed as the greatest batsman of his generation, was dismissed at Eastbourne College.
Will Wheeler was the bowler who grabbed the prize wicket as Tendulkar was caught by Rory Garratt for 39.

The Lashings posted a challenging total of 227 from their 35 overs, with Zimbabwean opener Brendan Taylor (50) and Tendulkar setting a solid foundation against some tight College bowling.

The legendary Indian batsman was one of a number of cricketing greats playing for a Lashings World XI against Eastbourne College.
They included Richie Richardson, Denish Mongia, Greg Blewett and former College student and England Test bowler Ed Giddins.

In reply the Eastbourne College team batted superbly against their experienced opponents with Max Finzel top scoring with 85.

Captain Angus Stewart (50) also excelled with the bat as the College hit 202-9.

Before the match College captain Stewart told Herald Sport, "This is a fantastic way to finish our time at the College.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all the lads and hopefully we can make the most of it.

"When we heard we were playing against Tendulkar we thought it was a joke.

"We could not believe he was coming to Eastbourne to play us; he's a legend.

"To have the chance to play against him is something we will always remember."
