The Championship side, who missed out on automatic promotion to the Premier League last year on goal difference, ran out 4-0 winners at the Checkatrade Stadium this afternoon.
Goals from Beram Kayal and an offside-looking Tomar Hemed strike gave Albion a 2-0 lead at the break.

Reds weren’t without their chances as Enzio Boldewijn, Jason Roberts and Jason Banton linked well behind front man James Collins.
Drummy said: “I learnt we have got character for 90 minutes. That’s from all of them when it’s a tough game and you give the ball away and you have to fight to get it back.
“I thought we did admirably. We gave a couple of silly goals away due to tiredness and people having their first game back in at real level.

Hide Ad“You have got to accept that, I said before the East Grinstead and Three Bridges game, they were nice, but this was the level above what we are.
“It was tough, we had to compete and try move the ball. At times we gave sloppy passes, but that is to be had in the first real test of the season, so I was pleased overall.”
