Goodwood racecourse in running for trio of awards

Glorious - the Qatar Goodwood Festival - has been nominated in the best campaign and events categories and racecourse staff have made the shortlist in the digital/social media excellence category.
The awards celebrate excellence and innovation on Britain’s racecourses and the ceremony takes place at Ascot Racecourse on Thursday, November 12.

Hide AdA commission from fine art photographer Ripley was used to lead a campaign that used outdoor advertising, direct marketing, advertorials, press coverage and a significant investment in digital to introduce the inaugural Qatar Goodwood Festival.
The Qatar Goodwood Festival has also been nominated for the events category, reflecting the success of this festival fixture. Goodwood was proud to meet the challenge of maintaining the history and appeal of this event, while reflecting the input and culture of the new sponsor.
Finally, Goodwood looked at data insight to establish how people used digital and social platforms in order to grow its online presence and engage with current and prospective customers.
