Last weekend saw Heath Under 11s in action at the Land Rover Cup held at Staines RFC in association with Harlequins, alongside a strong turnout from rugby club teams across the South East.

Heath were drawn in a tough pool with Farnham, Chobham, Teddington and Beckenham.

The allocated pitch was quite narrow which restricted open play but nevertheless, the team performed extremely well, winning all their games comfortably, without conceding a single try.

There is no progression at this age in the Land Rover series, but hearing Bognor had also won all their pool games, the Heath coaches organised an extra game on the spot with the support of the organisers.
